We believe in a natural, holistic approach to pregnancy;
free of unnecessary stress.  Your baby has the ability to
grow and develop better, if you are as stress-free as
possible; during your pregnancy. You will learn how to
best take care of yourself during pregnancy and post-partum;
what to expect during pregnancy and Labor and Delivery
and what choices you have for your birth; and more.  Home
visits, and social support, in themselves have been
shown to benefit moms and babies; which are both
components of our programs.
Studies done at the
University of California
have shown that there is a
potential link between stress
hormones and uterine
contractions; which cause
pre-term labor and
low-birth weight.  Las

Eligibility/Eligibilidad:

Pregnant women of all ages, including Teen Moms
living in Milwaukee's Southside and Northside
Communities; Zip Codes 53204, 53207,  53209,
53212, 53214, 53215, 53219; and
Families living in the above Zip Codes with children
aged Birth to 7 years;
are eligible to receive Home Visits, Pregnancy,
Childbirth and Parenting Education "Baby Classes",
Interpretation and Transportation for Medical
Appointments and other services. Services should be
started as soon as you have a positive pregnancy test,
or suspect you are pregnant.  See our Services page
for a list of Services.  If you are unsure of your zip
code, we can let you know if you live in an eligible
area.  Spanish-speaking women in other zip codes
may be considered for services.
