We believe in a natural, holistic approach to pregnancy; free
of unnecessary stress.  Your baby has the ability to grow
and develop better, if you are as stress-free as possible;
during your pregnancy and after. You will learn how to best
take care of yourself during pregnancy and post-partum;
what to expect during pregnancy and Labor and Delivery
and what choices you have for your birth; and more.  Home
visits, and social support, in themselves have been
shown to benefit moms and babies; which are both
components of our programs.

Studies done at the
University of California
have shown that there is
a potential link between
stress hormones and
uterine contractions;
which cause pre-term
labor and low-birth
weight.  Las

Eligibility/Eligibilidad:

Pregnant women of all ages, including Teen Moms
living in Milwaukee's Southside and Northside
Communities; Zip Codes 53204, 53207,  53209,
53212, 53214, 53215, 53219; and
Families living in the above Zip Codes with
children aged Birth to 8 years;
are eligible to receive Home Visits, Pregnancy,
Childbirth and Parenting Education "Baby
Classes", and other services. Services should be
started as soon as you have a positive pregnancy
test, or suspect you are pregnant.  See our Services
page for a list of Services.  If you are unsure of your
zip code, we can let you know if you live in an eligible
area.  Spanish-speaking women in other zip codes
may be considered for services.

su embarazo, y crianza temprano. Sabemos que culturas
diferentes tienen creencias diferentes de embarazo y
entendemos y respetamos sus creencias. Si no esta
embarazada ahora mismo, esta importante por su bebe, a
prepararse ahora mismo.  Aprendara como cuidarse lo mas
mejor durante del embarazo y post-parto; que va a pasar
durante del embarazo y parto y opciones que tiene usted para
el nacimiento de su bebe; y mas. Visitas Hogares y apoyo
social bajan el estres; y ofrecemos los dos.
